Affairs of Estates (forthcoming)

This is a behind-the-scenes look at the estate sale industry in and around Washington, DC, based on Christina’s own long experience as an estate sale organizer and her interactions with other industry professionals and clients. This is a judiciously anonymized account of the ups and downs, ins and outs, drama and (il)legalities, and the famous and infamous that make the United States Capital Region so fascinating to residents and outsiders, from a unique perspective (from inside-the-cabinets-closets-attics-and-basements of the good, great, and downright dastardly).

Christina has been talking about writing this book for years, even going so far as to rough out chapter titles and topics, but she didn’t start making much progress until early 2026, when a friend told her that she really wanted to read it! So, creating this “in progress” page for Affairs of Estates is Christina’s pledge to focus her energies, quit fooling around, and actually begin assembling her many stories in earnest.
